tried to pull him over. this man, who's identified by police as 24-year-old jorge sanchez, led officers on a slow-speed chase for ten minutes. police then had to put out stop sticks, which you see hanging out from under this car. and if you notice, police in full-on gear come up to the car with their guns drawn and watch what happens next. you see that he is struck with something, kind of collapses over into the passenger seat. according to reports, police fired in his direction with a low-impact bb gun. doesn't cause serious injuries, but did kind of get him under control. another officer goes to the other side of the car. they bust out the driver's side window. they pull sanchez out into the street, where they cuff him, and according to reports, he was taken into custody. >> wow. >> what a weird video. >> okay, inform me, what is nitrous oxide make you feel? >> basically known as laughing ga and leaves y with a fe according to sanchez's father, sanchez had a problem with nitrous oxide in the past, he does this to create the feeling of euphoria. this is also not sanchez's firs

looking for, anthony sanchez seen in the picture. he is about 5'5", 275 pounds. yesterday afternoon san jose police went to the parkside glen apartments on hillsdale road to arrest him for outstanding warrants. officers say they had to double cuff him because sanchez couldn't get his arms close enough together. but there was something he could do. officers put sanchez in the back of an unmarked car. when one officer was distracted with paperwork, sanchez slipped his cuffs and was able to jump in the driver's seat and drove away. >> now it's just going back to square one to find the suspect. hopefully he will still have the handcuffs on when we find him. >> reporter: two hours later police found the minivan parked in a neighborhood about a mile away. all of the equipment was still in the front seat. there were no firearms inside. now, as for how sanchez got these keys in the first place, san jose police say it is common practice for them to leave the keys in the ignition if they are close by. cate caugiran, kpix 5. >>> iran's state-run media has released video taken from a u.s. spy drone

, is if you do arrest somebody, say you arrest sewer and you find out his name is ricardo sanchez, and say you get sewer down here in san francisco. you could type in that search and say, oh, he was -- there was a sewer that was arrested in phoenix, arizona on such time and date and the detective that arrested him. you can call that detective and say, hey, did you have a sewer there, yep, ricardo sanchez, really? you can match up things that way. they do travel. issue of the fence, i would look for the zoning administrator's sanchez's guidance and the point of compromise. i am supportive of it, but we need to guides it that it best addresses the height and zoning requirements, which normally exist for fences. which i think you can't make it too tall. it has to be a certain height and it can't be too low that people fall over it, either way. including a fence material that is consistent with fences rather than glass or transparent element. the thing i have a little bit of a problem with is that using the outdoor space after 10:00 is an issue for me. living in a building where neighbors use an outdoor spaces a communal space, when things become quiet at night and even not loud conversation becomes ten time as loud when you leave your window open and trying to sleep. the noise is more amplified than during an afternoon when people are bustling around and creating their own noise. so i'm concerned that giving hours to 11:00, 12:00 is not really in the spirit of the adjoining neighborhoods, but that would be my only concern. everything else i be

anthony sanchez and he was able to give san jose police the slip. they were trying to ease stress on his shoulders and he took advantage. police say he was able to move the cuffs probably under his body and take off in an unmarked police minivan. it started about 3:30 in the afternoon on thursday. police arrested him on a drug related probation warrant. when officers were outside the van filling out paperwork, they say sanchez made his move. the van was located about two hours later about a mile away and neighbor wes were stunned b his disappearing act. >> who can do that? big guy. how can he get out? we don't know what to think. kind of scary. >> reporter: now nothing was stolen from the van and he's not considered dangerous. sanchez is 5'8" to 5'10" tall, 250 to 275 pounds. big guy. last seen wearing black sweats and a gray sweatshirt with cuffs possibly still on his arm. he may have gotten those off. it's unfortunate because this was really only a probation violation which would have meant minimal jail time but now when he's caught, he'll be facing a whole new case. reporting live

that police caught up with anthony sanchez late last night. he was driving a stolen pickup truck. that arrest happened at 11:30 last night. here is a new video of a mug shot taken early this morning of the 32-year-old. police have been searching since wednesday afternoon. sanchez was able to slip his handcuffs from behind his back to the front and then he jumped into the driver seat of an unmarked police van. he then drove away in that police fan which was later found near renato hours later. police sources say that sometime wednesday or thursday he was later spotted in a red toyota tacoma that was stolen in a 7-11 parking lot and then officers finally caught him driving that stolen truck near mount castle late last night in san jose. we are not sure if he went quietly but he was finally booked in to the county jail at 3:30 this morning. he was arrested for burglary, vehicle theft, escape, possession of a controlled substance and on the two arrest warrants, we are trying to get an interview with the police spokesperson. we haven't heard back from him yet but when we have the upda
